Photo Adam Hatt, Norwich University NORTHFIELD, Vt. - The Norwich University women's rugby team's Division I debut couldn't have gone much better as the Cadets downed 2011 USA Rugby Division I National Champions West Point (Army) 34-15 on Saturday morning at the NU Dog River Rugby Pitch.

The match was the first regular season rugby match played on the pitch since it was destroyed in August 2011 by the heavy rainfall of Hurricane Irene.

The Cadets (5-0) stayed unbeaten on the season with the victory in their inaugural meeting with Army.
