Five Teams into Women DII Playoffs

Five teams have booked their spots into the USA Rugby DII Women's College playoffs with their performances this weekend.

Winona State defeated Pittsburgh 31-10 to win the Midwest. Both teams now advance to the national playoffs as Midwest #1 and Midwest #2.

Meanwhile, in the Northeast, Norwich dominated the playoffs, winning their semifinal over Bowdoin 58-0 and the final 46-0 over Vassar. Vassar takes #2 out of the Northeast. Rutgers, which lost by a single point to Vassar in the semis, got the opportunity to prove they are playoff caliber, defeating Bowdoin 20-12 and claiming the #3 seed from the Northeast.
