The USA women's 7s team has started very well in the Women's 7s Invitational in Guanzhou, China.

They shut out Singapore 59-0, and then followed that up with a 52-0 win over the Philippines.
In that second game, six players scored eight tries, with Bui Baravilala scoring two and adding six conversions for 22 points, and Kimber Rozier also getting two. Emily Bydwell, Katie Dowty, Vix Folayan, and Kelly Griffin all touched down as well.
In the final round of the day, the USA drew first blood, scoring early, and then weathering some Chinese attention before breaking through several tackles to score and make 12-0 at halftime.
In the second half, China managed one try, but the Americans pulled away to win impressively 36-5.
Nathalie Marchino notched two tries, while Folayan, Griffin and Baravilala scored one each. So did Lauren Doyle. Baravilala added three conversions.
The USA takes first in their pool, China second.
South Africa swept through their pool, beating out Kazakhstan for 1st.
