USA Comeback Not Enough Against French
Sevens - USA Sevens Men


The USA men's 7s team finish Saturday 0-3 in a tough pool in London, losing 19-15 against France in their final pool game.

The Americans dug themselves a hole in the first half, falling behind 12-0 after tries from Aurellien Sourrouille and Julien Saubade, the second converted by Thibault Zambelli.

But they clawed their way back into contention. Mike Palefau scored at the end of the first half, and after Saubade's try made it 19-5 France, Justin Boyd raced in to make it 19-10 with 90 seconds to go. The Eagles retained ball and Zack Test scored, still with time on the clock. But they couldn't finish it and France won 19-15.
