Pacific Nations Cup Starts Eagles 2013
National Teams - USA Men

The 15s Men's National Team is set for a busy 2013 as the Eagles will compete in the resurgent Pacific Nations Cup.

Their first match of this competition is a non-rankings match against Canada May 25th. The game is reportedly set for Edmonton, Canada. It's the same weekend as the Elite Cup final in Glendale, Colo., and it butts up really close to the European professional season, so the American team won't closely resemble the Eagles team that will finish the competition.

The Eagles next take the field at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston on June 8th. The British & Irish Lions will be on tour in Australia, so some of Ireland's top guns won't be in Houston. This is the USA's designated home Tier 1 Test for 2013.

The following Friday night, June 14, at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah, the Eagles play Tonga in their second Pacific Nations Cup match. Then they travel to Japan for the last two fixtures – against Fiji and Japan in the same week.

In July the Eagles play Canada in Rugby World Cup qualifying matches. They're reportedly hosting at Kennesaw State University in suburban Atlanta on July 20 and playing in Toronto on July 27th or 28th. If the Eagles beat Canada by the aggregate score of the two games, they'll qualify for the 2015 RWC.

If they don't, they'll play home-and-away against Uruguay in November.
