USA 7s players Zack Test and Colin Hawley are featured in a new TV ad spot for the USA 7s, to be held February 8-10 2013 in Las Vegas.

The ad depicts Test and Hawley having to run to the tournament after their car breaks down, chased by a multitude of fans and Vegas characters.

Hawley said the commercial was a long day of shooting.

"We had an amazing time," he told RUGBYMag.com. "It's one of those experiences you hold on to for the rest of your life. It was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be!"

The athletes had to get on set early and were running all day.

"We were pretty much doing sprints for each shot a dozen times," said Hawley. "We were both pretty winded so I can imagine how the fans from the video were feeling."

Hawley said the cast and crew were great to work with, and very funny as well.

"The hardest part was the timing involved - things had to be a certain quick tempo to get the right shot, and it took us a bit to adapt to it," he explained. "The best part was watching Zack stiff-arm the Elvis into the pool. The poor volunteer did it six times and they kept bringing out new, dry Elvis costumes! And Zack wasn't doing a pretend fend. He was nailing the guy, which made it all the better."
