Las Vegas Invitational Filling Up Already
Stations Casinos LVI
Full registration is open for the Las Vegas Invitational, presented by Stations Casinos, scheduled for February 7-9 in Las Vegas.
The tournament, as usual held in conjunction with the USA 7s World Series event, is now the country’s largest rugby tournament. Over 230 teams participated in 2012, and already over 175 teams have pre-registered for 2013.
Even with expanded brackets and more fields (including some brand new fields opened up for the first time to the tournament), space is dwindling. Tournament Director Jon Hinkin had to shut down pre-registration for some brackets early.
Information is out on hotels, too, with big deals at Stations Casinos, who are once again sponsoring the LVI.
Teams that book at Stations Casinos can get $200 off registration for the LVI. And in doing so, they also stay at hotels that start at $32 a night and even the so-called “more expensive” rooms are still very low cost.
The tournament, though is filling up, and teams should move quickly.
“We’re really happy with the response, but this is also a good reminder for teams to get their plans finalized as soon as possible,” said Hinkin. “The response has been amazing.”
Over 25 brackets are available for the LVI, including 7s tournaments and 15s challenge matches. Here’s a list of some of them:
- Men’s Elite 7s
