Life University continued its winning ways in the Super League, dispatching the Chicago Lions 47-18 to move to 4-0 in the Eastern Conference. Life hit the Lions hard and fast in the early going, led by two tries from center Tui Osborne. Head Coach James Isaacson, drummed into service on the field in addition to his coaching duties, was pleased with the first 40 minutes. "It's a lot easier coaching from the sideline, I'll tell you," Isaacson told RUGBYMag.com. "Hats off to the rest of the guys on the field. They put in a real professional performance in the first half; very clinical." With his team well ahead, Isaacson took the shackles off the Life attack, saying the players would feel free to spread their wings, but the offer backfired, as Life seemed a little flumoxed by the opportunity. "We made mistake after mistake, so after a while I said enough of that, let's go back to what we were doing," Isaacson said. "Overall we did well. I thought Tui played superbly in defense. But we need to be better than we were." Meanwhile Boston defeated NYAC to move to 3-1, which, pending the Griffins v. Old Blue game, leaves the standings as follows:
