NYAC has clinched 1st place in the Super League East with a 39-21 defeat of Life University in Marietta.
The AC forward dominated much of the game and ruled possession, while Life made several exciting breaks, particularly from Tui Osborne at center, but the Life support couldn’t finish many of those movements off.
NYAC got tries from McFarland, L’Estrange, Mike Petri, and two from Lou Stanfill.
Osborne, Benny Mateialona and Clint Whittler all scored for Life.
But every time Life got at all close, NYAC made a big play to stay ahead.
Life drops to 6-2 and are 2nd in the RSL East. NYAC is 7-0 and confirmed 1st even with a game to go.
