NYAC Defeats Boston at Remembrance Cup |

The NYAC beat Boston 43-19 in the 9th Annual Remembrance Cup Saturday. Boston won the inaugural tournament in 02, Brendan Ridge and Andy McLean who played today were on that winning team. Today marked the launching of NYAC’s Play Rugby USA youth program, with 70 kids playing flag rugby. Players from both the NYAC and Boston clubs helped out with the kids. In the Remembrance Cup game itself, both teams played expansive running rugby, with NYAC running in six tries, including two each from Alex Willen and Gareth Gibbs.
