NYAC Blanks Old Blue
Clubs - Elite Cup / RSL

Randall's Island, New York, NY - Despite the fact that its Eagle scrumhalf Mike Petri was on World Cup duty with the Eagles, the New York Athletic Club disposed of its NY City Super League rival Old Blue by a score of 34-0.

Two tries, three conversions and a penalty goal from flyhalf Justin Hundley accounted for 19 of NYAC's 34 points.

The AC led only 7-0 at halftime thanks to a James Denise try, which Hundley converted.

The NYAC scored four second-half tries, one each by flanker Richard White and fullback Kyle Buckley and two by Hundley, with Hundley adding a conversion and a penalty goal.

But the score was only 7-0 going into the final quarter of the match.
