Falcons Exact Revenge on Serevi
Sevens - All-Stars

The consensus at the Serevi RugbyTown 7s was that the USA Falcons were probably the fittest team at the event, and so could handle the long day at altitude better.

While the Falcons faltered in pool play against Serevi 33-19, in a game that was somewhat closer than the score indicates, the Cup Final was very different, as the Falcons shut out a tired Serevi team 33-0.

"The Falcons have been in camp and are fitter, so I think they will finish well," said Serevi Coach and player Waisale Serevi. "They are fit and you need to be fit on a long day like this."

"We're going to really focus on retaining possession," said Falcons Head Coach Alex Magleby before the final. "How we're going to do that, well we don't have to go into detail. But we need to retain possession and continue to build on what we've been doing. This tournament ihas been great for us win or lose. We need this type of game experience against quality opposition."
