Top 7s Scorer to Join Serevi Team

SeattleSerevi™ today officially announced that Argentina's Santiago Gomez Cora will join the Serevi™ Select side in the inaugural Serevi™ Rugbytown Sevens tournament, August 11th at Infinity Park in Glendale, Colorado.

As captain of Argentina, Santiago Gomez Cora has been called "mercurial... dazzling" in the course of his 61 IRB Sevens World Series tournaments.

Gomez Cora will also participate in the Serevi™Rugby Training Camp for developing players, August 9-10th.

With Gomez Cora joining both Waisale Serevi and England great Ben Gollings, the Serevi™ brand brings-together three of the five highest points scorers in international rugby history, including: 

- The highest all-time points scorer in IRB Sevens World Series history – Ben Gollings (2,652 points)

- The highest all-time try scorer in IRB Sevens World Series history – Santiago Gomez Cora (230 tries)

- The most-accomplished player in international rugby: The 4th-leading points scorer; with a record seven IRB Rugby World Cup appearances; winner of two IRB World Cup titles; winner of the IRB Sevens World Series title as player and coach of Fiji, and; winner of a record seven Hong Kong Sevens championships – Waisale Serevi.
