Last week a group of representatives from the high school rugby community convened in a conference call to discuss the new format of the upcoming 2012 National High School Invitational.

USA Rugby is switching from a qualification model to an invitational model for the High School and High School Club national championships.

The committee members discussed how to move forward in developing team selection criteria, setting forth an application process, and a timeline.

Those on the committee are currently formulating a long list of potential invitees.

Dubbed the Youth & High School National Championships Committee, the group is made up of the following:
