Red White Black and Blue Movie Garnering Accolades
Off The Field - People

Red White Black & Blue, the documentary film about the ICEF rugby program’s tour of New Zealand, has won the Best Documentary award at the Idyllwild Film Festival in Southern California.

The film chronicles the players from the Inner-City Education Fund teams, made up of boys and girls from inner city of Los Angeles. The players deal with internal strife and bonding, expectations and a lot of culture shock (with sometimes the shock being how easy it is to bridge the gap) as they play school teams around New Zealand.

The film has garnered interest from distributors and agents. The film is set to be shown in San Diego on Thursday at the Reading Cinemas in the Gaslamp District at 7:30pm. Then on Feb 12, the film will make its Los Angeles debut.
