NYAC Awards. Doyle, McMillan, Vaccaro, Petri. USA and New York Athletic Club scrumhalf Mike Petri officially received his New York Athletic Club men's Athlete of the Year award Wednesday Night in New York.

Petri, the first rugby player to be so honored, was supported by a very large contingent of former and current teammates from Xavier HS, Penn State, and NYAC. If the NYAC at large wondered whether honoring a rugby player - their Athlete of the Year Award usually goes to Olympic athletes - would resonated, they got their answer.
