AIC in action Originally slated to be an automatic qualifier this weekend, the Empire Conference 7s tournament has been canceled altogether due to a lack of teams.

A couple of teams who intended on playing in the Empire tournament are now listed by USA Rugby as signed up for other qualifiers.

Stony Brook did well at Nationals last season and was ousted by a game ending minutes early, and American International College (AIC) cannot qualify through the East Coast conference tournament due to an agreement the team made with its new league. Both are slated to play in the East DI-A Halloween 7s hosted by Delaware the first weekend of November.
