Sevens - Collegiate Sevens

Norwich University blew away the entire competition at the first ever USA Rugby Women's Collegiate 7s Championships, finishing off Boston College 34-5 in Saturday's final at College Station, Texas.

Norwich spread the wealth as they showcased superb team play and speed. Hannah Bushey, Rebekah Bernheim, Vanessa Champagne, Joyak Clark and Ferne Ryder all scored tries - Bernheim claiming two, while Marlene Dwyer hit two conversions. BC's Mary Powell scored her team's only try.

Bernheim's pair made it ten for the tournament, leading all players in the women's bracket in tries and points.

In winning five games through the tournament, and losing none, Norwich scored 150 points and allowed 10, for an average score of 30-2.
