Longhorns Comeback to Beat Eagles

Day 3 of the Collegiate 7’s Head 2 Head Championship concluded yesterday with the Texas Longhorns pulling off a come from behind win over Boston College. The Eagles were far in the lead, holding 90 percent of the vote at one point, before voters pushed Texas ahead and into the second round.

Texas and Boston College never met in the Collegiate Rugby Championship, but Texas advanced further by making it to the Cup quarterfinals while BC lost in the Challenger quarters.

The Longhorns move on to match up against Cal in the second round.

Today’s head to head features Central Washington University against the Oklahoma Sooners. The Wildcats hold a decent lead at the moment with 67 percent of the vote compared to Oklahoma’s 33. The winner of today’s match up will move on to face Notre Dame.
