Seattle, San Diego Lead Among West-Coast Women

Seattle and San Diego are virtually deadlocked in first place of the women’s Competitive Region 1 DI league, after both teams won this weekend. Seattle shut out Belmont Shore 19-0 on Saturday, with Brianna Peterson scoring twice.

San Diego won easily over the San Francisco Fog 74-0.

On Sunday Belmont Shore rebounded from their loss to defeat Budd Bay 58-17. Jillianne Whitfield scored four tries and a conversion (for 22 points), and Regina Sheck added two tries and three conversions for 14 points.
