Suniula NOT on Shore Team After All

USA 7s team captain Shalom Suniula will not be playing for Belmont Shore at the 7s club championships after all.

Reports to RUGBYMag.com earlier this week indicated Suniula would be playing because of a waiver approved by USA Rugby. As it turned out, that waiver was not submitted until Thursday, and USA Rugby has denied it.

Suniula, who has missed the summer 7s season in part because he got married and was on his honeymoon, will be on the sidelines. Several other waiver requests put in by clubs for prominent players have also been denied.
