Santa Clarita won the Huntington Beach 7s this weekend, beating Back Bay 19-14 in the final.

It was a good win for Santa Clarita, a team made up mostly of 20- and 21-year-olds who were recent alumni of the U19 program.

They defeated a full-strength Huntington Beach Men's side in the semifinals and the Back Bay Men's side in the finals. UCLA wing Max Kampton was man of the match in the final, and the team put down a marker in a competitive Southern California league.
