 Three teams clinched automatic bids to the DII Sweet 16 Saturday by winning their conference championships – Rowan, Providence and Marist.
Rowan beat East Stroudsburg 37-12 to take the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Conference title, Providence edged Holy Cross 26-24 to win the Rugby Northeast and Marist defeated Vassar 22-15 to win the Tri States. Rowan, Marist and Providence had all beaten the teams they defeated in the final during their respective regular seasons.
So far, eight teams have qualified for Nationals:

Minnesota-Duluth (Northern Lights)
Providence (Rugby Northeast)
Rowan (Mid-Atlantic)

The winners of these conferences will win automatic bids in the spring – Gateway, WIIL, Cardinals and Southern. Below are the available playoff results and match-ups for all of the automatic qualifying conferences, except for the Southern, which has not yet begun regular season play.
