Bentley Routs Young Dartmouth Side
Colleges - Men's DII College

A well-drilled, match-ready Bentley side easily overcame an inexperienced Dartmouth team in a Friday night game under the floodlights in Waltham, Mass. Dartmouth sent a development side comprised primarily of freshmen, who struggled to compete with the physicality of the Bentley pack and the running skills of the Bentley backline which is in preparation for a Sweet 16 match with Colgate Saturday.

The first half was largely one-way traffic with the Bentley forwards making good use of the pick-and-drive to hammer home their greater size and strength. The half-time score of 54-5 led Bentley to make a number of substitutions at the break, replacing experienced players with some who are newer to the game. As a result, the second half was competitive, with Dartmouth running in three tries and outscoring Bentley 21-10.

Bentley flyhalf Spencer McKenna put on a spectacular kicking display. Until he came off at half-time, he scored with every place kick he attempted (a total of seven), including several from the edge of the field.
