The final seedings for the Midwest DII men's club playoffs were decided after Wisconsin shut out the South Side Irish 39-0 in a game where either team could have overtaken Lincoln Park in the Midwest-West Conference 2.

In the end, SSI was left in third and Wisconsin, 7-1 on the season, vaulted to 1st, leaving Chicago-based Lincoln Park in 2nd.

The Cleveland Rovers had already clinched 1st in the Midwest East Conference 1, and Michiana dominated East Conference 2.

Bremer County was similarly secure in 1st in West Conference 1.

Bremer County will now host the Midwest West playoffs in Waverly, Iowa this coming weekend, while Michiana will host the East playoffs at their Moose Rugby Grounds in Eklhart, Ind.

For the West, Bremer County plays Wisconsin for the top seed from the West. The two second-place teams, Lincoln Park and Eastside, will face off on Day One, and South Side Irish plays Metropolis.

The same format will be in the East, where Cleveland Rovers taken on Michiana, Pittsburgh plays Dayton, and Cleveland Eastern Suburbs taken on Toledo.

On Sunday, the teams break out into further games to decide seeds.
