Dartmouth College has clinched 1st place in the Ivy League North Division, beating rivals Brown 28-5.
The two teams had tied earlier in the season and were deadlocked in first place in the Ivy North. But Dartmouth controlled the second half of this game and won 28-5.
The Big Green opened up their account with an early Madison Hughes penalty kick, and then in loose play spun the ball to Kevin Clark for a try and an 8-0 lead. Brown replied with a try to make it 8-5 at halftime.
But in the second half Dartmouth seemed to realize they could punish Brown on the perimeter, and did so. Hughes put away Justin Ciambella for a try in the corner, and then Clark notched his second out wide; suddenly it was 18-5 Big Green.
Then Dartmouth clamped down. Hughes hit a penalty and then Chris Banks scored to seal it.
