MAC Weekend Preview
Colleges - Men's DI College

It’s week three of the MAC Conference and so far only one team has yet to play its first official match. For the others, here is a look at how things are shaping up:

Winless Ball State (0-2) is coming off a tough loss last weekend 61-24 to Ohio University. This weekend, they not only have to get back on the road, but have travel all the way to Ohio to face the other team in that state, the Bowling Green Falcons (2-0) who have won their first two games pretty convincingly.

The other undefeated, Central Michigan (2-0), will welcome the Ohio Bobcats (1-1) onto their home pitch. The Chippewas are coming off a tough battle against in-state rivals Western Michigan and will expect nothing less than a confident Bobcat squad that’s second in points (73) behind Bowling Green (89).

Cincinnati Bearcats (0-1) will travel to Kalamazoo, Mich. for their first road game of the season to take on Western Michigan (0-2). The WMU Broncos have had arguably the toughest schedule with back-to-back road games against conference powers Bowling Green and Central Michigan. The Bearcats have experienced two tough matches against their alumni in week one then in-state rival Miami (OH) last weekend.

In the last matchup of the weekend, Miami of Ohio (1-0) will welcome Dayton, the only MAC team that has yet to register a game. Miami, despite their youth, are coming off a convincing win against Cincinnati and are looking for another strong weekend, especially on their home pitch.

The Northern Illinois Huskies (1-1) have a bye week and will look to heal up for next weekend against Ball State on the road.
