Davenport is heavily represented here, but they should be. They are two-time defending DI-AA champs and they won the title convincingly, not losing to a single college team the entire 2011/2012 season. Of course, there are guys we wish we could have included. We could have gone with four hookers. Ryan Falvey of Santa Clara and Jaime Kelm of San Diego State were definitely discussed. In the end, we selected two -- Cameron Falcon and Gabe Sochanek. Sochanek we moved to flanker to get him on the field, as he is deceptively quick. The idea of an all DI-AA team is naming the best players in the division, so we had to put some guys in positions where they didn't regularly play during the season. Kalei Konrad is an example of that. He was fantastic at flyhalf for the Aztecs all year, but he's not better than JP Eloff, but still deserves to be on this list. Other players we considered, but certainly not all players, include Tennessee's Matt Neuhart, Florida's Lucas Baistrocchi and Mike Breske, Bowling Green's Dominic Mauer, Georgia's Will Farrell and Dartmouth's Paul Jarvis, LSU's Jeff Levasseur. Plenty of great talent throughout the country.
