A matchup between two physical teams can only mean one thing, a low scoring contest. And in a showdown of Eastern Washington and Washington State in Pullman, Wash., the game ended in a 10-10 tie.

Neither team showed much of an advantage throughout the game. The mistakes made by the Cougars were capitalized by EWU with tries from Eric Populus and Ricky Lang.

Washington State didn’t have much success throughout the match, but managed a pair of tries from Zach Myers and Jordan Rehwaldt.

Eastern Washington must get up north next weekend in a showdown against Simon Fraser. Washington State will have almost a month of corrections and healing before getting on the road to play UBC.
