On a chilly day up in Canada, Oregon State managed to squeeze past Simon Fraser (SFU) 12-10 to open their season with a much needed win.

Having to make adjustments due to a venue change, the Beavers and SFU arrived to a snow covered Gordon Park in freezing temperatures. However, led by tries from Michael Harnew and Mitch Fargher, and with Nick Cutrell getting the crucial conversion, the Beavers came up with the offense and defense when it mattered most.
