Arizona State Beats Cal Poly
Colleges - Men's DI College

Arizona State upended Cal Poly 24-5 Saturday in a non-league match Saturday.

John Vavara and Ryan Koewler each scored a try for the Sun Devils and Scott Coleman had two, while Keenan Mayfield added two conversions.

"It was nice to finally get a W," said ASU head Coach Gary Lanes. "It's a great testament to the team's hard work. As everyone knows this team put their hands up for one of the roughest schedules in collegiate rugby. We knew wins were going to be hard to attain, so anything we get is truly earned. I am very proud of our team and they should proud of themselves."

The Sun Devils take on Cal in two weeks.
