Harlequins Win Hawaii State Title
Clubs - Men's DI Clubs

On Saturday 13th April 2013, the Hawaii Harlequins Football Club won the Hawaii State Final game in Kapiolani Park against the former state Champions Laie Lions Rugby Club 18-7.

Both teams were well matched in skill and fitness, and it was a very tough game for all. The Harlequins lead throughout the contest, with the Lions very close on their heels.

"It was an incredible match between two well-coached very physical teams," said John MacGregor, Director Hawaii Harlequins rugby. "We waited 20 years for this. We are proud of our team and our organization. For the first time in Hawaii sports history we had three local boys from rival high schools Punahou, Kamehameha & St Louis win a championship together. Incredible!"
