Raptors Claw the Blues
Clubs - Men's DI Clubs

The Glendale Raptors moved to 1-0 in the West North DI league with a systematic 60-13 dismantling of a very good Kansas City Blues side Saturday in Colorado.

The Raptors hit on an early formula and kept using it, as Dustin Croy was set free for the first three tries of the game. James Paterson converted two to give Glendale an early 19-0 lead. Doug Graves added a try to make it 24-0.

Kansas City came back, and forced Glendale to get on the wrong side of the ref a few times. This led to a penalty kick, and later a penalty try to make it 24-10 at halftime.

But Croy was back wreaking havoc in the second half, scoring his fourth try to stretch the Glendale lead. Paterson them touched down twice in quick succession, followed by Dewon Reed, Justin Pauga, and Zac Pauga. KC could only managed one penalty kick.

Kansas City slips to 1-1 in the early stages of the competition.
