Metropolis earned the #2 seed in the Midwest Sunday with a 56-24 defeat of playoff tournament hosts Cincinnati. This completed a 5-0 sweep of West teams of East teams.

On Saturday, West Conference winners Palmer took the #1 seed by beating East Conference champs Cincinnati 38-15.

Cincinnati then played Metropolis, who had beaten Buffalo 71-15, Sunday for the 2nd seed, with the loser getting 3rd.

The Chicago Lions defeated the Detroit Tradesmen 32-14 to earn the right to play Buffalo for 4th.

Chicago won 71-12.

So this sets up the Competitive Region 3 playoffs between teams from the Midwest and the South:

South #4 Boca Raton at MW #1 Palmer
South #3 Charlotte at MW #2 Metropolis
MW #3 Cincinnati at South #2 Atlanta Renegades
MW #4 Chicago Lions at South #1 New Orleans
