The Glendale Raptors defeated the Chicago Griffins Saturday in a friendly between the defending DI club champs and the Chicago-based Super League side.

Behind a Man of the Match performance from No. 8 Nic Johnson, and two tries from another new Raptor, Eagle James Paterson, the Raptors scored three second-half tries to break a 5-5 deadlock.
