AOW in white, Atlanta Renegades in black. The first twenty minutes was almost all Renegades, with Sullivan staking his club to a 21-0 lead with three tries. The first two followed quick taps on penalties that caught Old White off-guard. All three were converted by wing Giovanni Canazza.

Old White got on the board in the 21st minute, with outside center Michael Aaron scoring up the middle from 25 meters after the Gades lost possession in a maul, converted by scrumhalf David Winiarczyk to narrow the score to 21-7. That scoreline held until halftime , despite the fact Old White played a man down for 10 minutes due to a yellow card.

The Renegades regained the momentum in the second half, with flanker Salesi Tongamoa making a break after multiple phases then offloading to inside center Quincey Knuckolls for the try, bumping the score to 26-7 eight minutes into the second half. Old White responded five minutes later with a try through the forwards following a penalty five meters out. That made it 26-12.

The Renegades closed out the scoring with Sullivan adding his fourth try of the day and converting it also midway through the period. Tongamoa notched his second assist, dishing to fullback Luke Waikamakama for the try after a third phase ruck near the Old White line. That try was converted by newcomer Roger Boniface for the 40-12 final scoreline.

The Renegades B side completed the day with a 37-0 shutout, blanking North Atlanta Rugby Club (NARC) 17-0 in the first half and Old White’s B side 20-0 in the second half of a split halves matchup.
