Saturday's OMBAC v Santa Monica game was officially announced as a 37-37 tie. However, Santa Monica protested, saying they had actually won 37-34.

The SCRFU actually reviewed the game film (another reason why clubs should tape games) and confirmed that OMBAC had been given an extra three points by mistake by the referee.

Santa Monica actually won that game 37-34.
