In a Saturday matchup between long-time NYC rivals, Old Blue overwhelmed the New York RFC by a score of 52-5. Flyhalf Elliott Rechtin led Old Blue with 22 points (2T, 6C). 

Old Blue went out to a 19-5 halftime lead on a try by fullback Luke Hume and two by center and captain Dom Waring. OB flyhalf Elliot Rechtin added two conversions.

Flanker Pat Holman accounted for New York’s lone points with a try late in the half, 19-5.

Old Blue added 33 unanswered second half points on tries by Elliott Rechtin (2), Luke Hume (2), and reserve wing Pete Jordan. Rechtin converted four of Old Blue’s five second half tries.
