The USA 7s team won their first medal of any kind Sunday, defeating Uruguay 21-17 with a try by Zack Test seconds from full time.Test stiff armed on defender and evaded two others en route to a magnificent individual try.

Uruguay punched and the United States counter-punched the entire game. Los Teros led 7-0, 12-7 and 17-14. Mile Pulu scored the Eagles' first try with a burst through the heart of Uruguay's defense, and Maka Unufe danced past multiple would-be tacklers to give USA its brief 14-12 lead.
