Women DI College Standings - March 2, 2012
Scores-Standings-Stats - Past Seasons

Below are the current standings for the active women's DI college divisions.

NC State played two close games against South Cardinal leader North Carolina.

In the Pacific Mountain North Conference, Stanford has all but locked up the top seed. Cal was meant to have a double-header weekend in Oregon, but Oregon State forfeited their match this weekend due to a depleted roster (the win has been reflected in the standings). After a 31-5 win over UC San Diego last weekend, UCLA has secured the top seed out of the South Conference.

North Carolina and North Carolina State played in a barnburner this week, but the Tar Heels held onto the 17-15 victory to secure the top seed out of the South's Cardinal Conference. State will likely take the second seed out of the region and head to the South play-ins for the fourth spot at South Championships. All they need to do is beat the winless South Carolina on March 16.

Central is once again the top team in the South's Sunshine division, and Florida has locked up the second seed. UF's 20-14 loss was a crucial game, in that the bonus-point loss gave the team enough of a cushion over FSU, which has 10 points and one game remaining against UF. And in the Wren Conference, another 17-all tie between Tennessee and Georgia keeps the top three teams (including Clemson) in a heated battle for first. Clemson and Georgia will attempt to add to their win columns with games against Georgia Tech and Georgia Southern respectively.

Texas is heading the South play-ins on March 25, despite their 32-29 loss to Texas A&M last weekend. The second place team will head to the West DII playoffs, and the berth will be decided this weekend in the A&M v Texas Tech match. Both have five points apiece, so the winner will move on.
