NSCRO Playoff Latest

Last weekend was perhaps the biggest one in the history of NSCRO. Well, for certain, it was the busiest one, with three four-team playoff events taking place from coast-to-coast.

On the right coast in Norfolk, Virg. Duke University emerged as the Mid-Atlantic South Region winner coming from behind to beat Gettysburg College. Duke becomes the third team to reach the NSCRO Small College Championship, along with St. John's University (Collegeville, MN) and New England College (Henniker, NH), set for April 27-28 at Infinity Park Stadium in Glendale, Colo. See the event report.

On the left coast in Vallejo, California in the inaugural Pacific Coast Cup Qualifier, both host California Maritime Academy and Occidental College, earned a place in the upcoming PacWest Region Championship, scheduled for April 6-7 in Glendale, Colo. hosted by the University of Denver. See the event report.

Then 'stuck in the middle' of the NSCRO weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the Cowboy Cup Qualifier, where the University of Denver beat their nemesis Colorado School of Mines to qualify for the PacWest Region Championship. See the event report.
