Rugby Colorado Names Select Side Coaches
School Age - Boys

Denver, Colo. —Rugby  Colorado, the governing body for youth rugby in the state of Colorado, today announced that it has named Mike Mangan as the U-19 coach for the Rugby Colorado Select Side; Allan Wilson will reprise his role as the Select Side's U-17 coach.

Mangan was the 2007 vice captain of the USA Eagles World Cup team and has 18 caps as an Eagle. For the past five years, the Denver-based lock has been a member of the Denver Barbarians RFC. Before his tenure with the Barbarians, Mangan spent over four years with the Chicago Griffins. Mangan attended Eastern Illinois University where he played tight end for the school's football team.

In the fall of 2011, Mangan served as the assistant coach for Regis's men's rugby team. In 2012, Mangan began running rugby clinics at the Apex Center in Arvada, which has helped to enhance the rugby skills of more than 30 youths in the Denver area.
