Talked to players of both teams after the match. None of that "coulda, shoulda, woulda" stuff - just respect for their opponent. But it did remind me of the end of Rocky: Appolo Creed: Ain't gonna be no rematch. Rocky: Don't want one.

I think the BG centers gave us the most trouble... mainly on defense. They had two nice line breaks because of assignment lapses, but they were tough as nails in the middle. Once we took that away, BG didn't threaten again until that kick that we "touched" and lost 70 meters on. I'd say your 12 and 13, though, played better games than your 10, I just think your 10 is more visible because he's kicking. Still a good performance, a couple of clutch kicks.... oh yeah, and a drop goal

Rocco Mauer did not "skip" anything. The decision was made to hold him out until Sunday once it was known that Gareth Jones was not playing. He may have been a bit rusty and did not score his usual bundle of tries, but he forced Florida to cover the outside and that opened the gates for the BG centers.

Right on! I'll accept whiner. I'm just a heart broke alumni stuck in Ft. Benning who couldn't come watch his little brother #8 for UF play his final game in person....Hell of a game regardless. It was a classic in my opinion despite my brutal, emotion based opinions. BG won't have a problem with the teams remaining. I think they already notched a good enough win against Davenport this year to suggest they will do it again.
