That was my original point. IIRC they only beat B-C and every other game they got beat by at least 20 points. So they win 1 game, move to the south and make the playoffs and play the lions close..that says either the lions aren't that good or Charlotte got better over the winter

Actually they were a part of MARFU in the fall and did not jump to the South until the spring. Who they had in the fall is the same team that they had in the Spring. They used to take seasons off when they were an RSL team but not this year.

But it's a moot point since they dropped out of the SL. If they hadn't moved to the South, they wouldn't be playing any meaningful games this spring

I honestly couldn't even keep track of the score of the Lions v. Charlotte game. The Lions were up by multiple tries for most of the game, but gave up a number of easy tries to the #13 who had 5 for the game (I believe all of their tries) 2 of which were interceptions with the Lions threatening to score. In the end I think the Lions had 8 or 9 tries.

Since Charlotte's MARFU games dont count towards the standings many of their senior players take the fall MARFU season off.

So why no information on the Chicago game? would love to here if they played super league players or not for the game? or does the ruling come into effect in the round of 16?

Yupp, 7 minutes into overtime for the Metro win. The touchie said time had been up on his watch over a minute before the second last try was scored by Metropolis already. Another 4 minutes later they score the winning try. Still good win for Metropolis, the Renegades chucked that game away. Oh and it was a one point win with the near touchline conversion winning it for Metro...
