			<description><![CDATA[I have to completely disagree with this article. Nor Cal still has some of the best rugby and there are thrilling matches every weekend... not just in D1 but in lower divisions as well. To discredit these teams discredits USA rugby as a whole. There is no doubt that SFGG has set the standard in Nor Cal and they are fortunate to have many vital components to build long lasting success (clubhouse, sponsors, etc.) but you can't disregard the standard of play in Nor Cal when the top half of D1 clubs have made it to the playoffs and sweet 16, elite 8, or final 4, in the last few years including O-Club, San Mateo, EPA Bulldogs, and Sacramento Lions. Many of these clubs only lost in their playoff routes to each other or other California teams. I don't think Nor Cal has gotten worse, the rest of the country is just finally starting to catch up to the standard NorCal has set the last few decades. And any D1 NorCal team would still compete with any of the top D1 clubs throughout the US.]]></description>
