@richardlgunn Perhaps you've heard of Todd Clever and Paul Emerick, two stalwarts of the Eagles' 7s and 15s programs over the past decade. They played their college rugby at Nevada and Northern Iowa. These ODAs should be placed in areas with strong teams and coaches but talented players can and do come from less historically strong programs and should be searched for and given pathways, too.

This is great? Shocking that this focuses on sub par programs and searches for players on teams that are rubbish. The camps should consists of the best players from Cal, Arksansas State, Life, St Marys, etc. Turn the really good players in the country into great players. Don't go searching for average players that are under the radar. Come on Magleby

This is great. Don't care if there aren't camps everywhere, this is a huge step in right direction!

I'm sure the Northeast will get one eventually but the West gets the opportunities for stuff like this because it has superior weather year round and it has the best high school and college teams. I hope Hawaii gets one soon too.

Nothing in the NYC/Philly/Washington areas in the first phase? There are a good concentration of 7s athletes in this region; unless Columbus is considered east coast, It seems the west is always the recipient of all the extra opportunities.
