What an utter disgrace for a college rugby coach to do. It is very typical to cancel or reschedule a meaning regular season game for a playoff game. Time fot this coach to go sit in the stands. FYI, KU has had a bad rap for a long time. I've played for years and have seen very few red cards in my career. Something is wrong at KU to get that many in one season.

for everyone on here that says kutztown is taught to play dirty they are talikng out there ass I played as a back and forward at Kutztown and we were never taught ways to play dirty. Too many times people confuse physical play with dirty play, kutztown is a physical team not a dirty one

When Rutgers' forward pack is manhandling your pack I guess a weak cowardly coach tells them to play dirty. Didn't work. Next time try spending some time on the scrum sled and lean how to mauls and breakdowns are more successful if your forwards are on their feet. ThugzTown is not only soft, but have very poor skills.

Doc is a great coach and a huge contributor to the game here in America on all levels, mad respect. But I hate the way Kutztown plays. I've played tough games against good teams who hit harder and are nastier than KU, and I respect them more because of their heart and effort. That style of dirty play does nothing but take the fun out of the game and respect for their program.

This is a nasty game.. not a dirty game. If bluehenrugby is right, 8 cards in 7 games, that says something. Whether it is dirty play or repeated infractions, yellow cards are not and should not be common in rugby games. Understandably, a referee may need to call one, but the consistent amount of cards against Kutztown is saying.. A) We look to cheap shot other teams wherever possible or B) We don't know the rules of rugby. I respect nasty play. Finish your tackles, blow up rucks, and run hard, but don't attempt to injure another player through dirty play.

A year ago the KU coach stood on the opposite sideline rooting against fellow EPRU team Temple University in the D2 national championship final. Coincidentially , Temple had elected to cancel their match with KU the week before because Temple was in the finals and didn't want to risk injury.

Looks like Kutztown got worked over in the forwards. Hard to win rugby games when your pack is going backwards and then decide to get yellow carded off the field. Who is the K-town forwards coach? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=weKQp6yvjgk&
