I like the plain speak here. Saying who needs to do what, and how, instead of the traditional vague "we must execute the game plan" without telling us the plan. It is early days and everyone who still dreams of becoming an eagle should have some idea what it takes and little articles like this one tell the kids (good hands, reading the situation based on the other team's strengths and weaknesses) there is a bit of strategy beyond "scoring more points". Word of the weekend is "quick hands".

Actually the Georgia scrum struggled at the RWC comparative to the platitudes it was given. Yes the props are good but the second row was one of the lightest in the RWC. If their props hadn't taken much of the burden their scrum would've been in serious trouble. You could see against Scotland the scrum was just barely holding its own due to the power coming through from the big Scottish locks. The Eagles are not so good in the front row but will have more grunt coming through from the second row. The Eagles would be in much more serious trouble if the Georgian locks were as big as those in tier one status countries and there was even more power coming through from the whole of the tight five rather than just its very strong and technically proficient props. The Italian scrum will be the one to worry about, as was evidenced in Nelson last October.
