Dang, Ol' Mose is back in the thick of it. Good to see Davies from BYU get the nod, lots of tools in his toolbox. Fry is a bit of a mystery, hopefully playing for "The Bush" has improved his scrumming. Wishing the Eagles all the best!

Definitely looking forward to the selections at 4-8. Stanfill, Clever and Lavalla are sure picks, but one of them will likely have to play second row next to Doyle. That leaves a back row spot open, probably up to Mokate or Durutalo. Wishful thinking, I would like to see Holder starting at 10 and Roland Suniula shifting to 12.

Eric Fry is probably one choice I don't agree with. He has been horrible as a prop for the US. Anyone know what the deal is with Seta Tuilevuka that plays for Montpelier in France?

A previous article on this site suggested Manoa opted out to spend time with his family. My only thought is that prior to signing his contract extension w/ the Saints that his wife/girl-friend and child didn't come to England with him as the duration of his time there was at that time unknown. Also as previously mentioned he did finish the season injured. However the fact that his name wasn't listed as 'unavailable due to injury' leaves us all somewhat in the dark as to his motives. I'd love to read an interview regarding his future intentions w/ the Eagles.

gcrazy - there are two "test" windows where clubs are required to release their players for international play. one such period is June (and perhaps July?). The other is October / November. Now, he may be making the choice that being injured playing for the Eagles is not worth the risk. Or he may just have no interest in playing for the US. His choices indeed and definitely a loss for the Eagles. Obviously it would be good to see him in the Eagles jersey and it's not entirely unfair to vent since, as has been pointed out - he owes his good fortune to having played with the Eagles ... one can only hope that he has a change of heart down the road.

Interesting loose forward choices without Nic Johnson at 8. Makes me think Big Lou is going to the 8, but ask me 3 months ago I would have seen him taking over for John Van Der Giesen . Mokate is a big kid but needs to prove he can lay tge wood as I'm yet to see him do it. I'll be very interested to see 4-8.
