Mauer looked horrible on D. If only he could get it up to the same level his agility is at. Looking forward to seeing the newer guys come up in the ranks. Very promising despite the complete flop down the stretch vs Russia

To midemidwest: I don't think we should be too harsh on USA 7's team considering they have just been appointed a competent new coach and a few players - it will take time for the team to settle down. In my opinion, they have improved drastically in receiving kick off balls and their support play which indicates that they are working on their fitness levels. I agree, they do lack a bit in their defense play, which is something the coach can sort out. Now what about the appalling display by South Africa who always end in the top 3, narrowly beat Russia 17-14 and lost to England 19-14 and England played finals!! From Stuart, Port Elizabeth,South Africa

Very bad in my opinion. USA showed they can play with the best but at the sametime showed they are no better than the worst. Shouldve beaten England, then to lose to Russia and struggle over Portugal!!!! This is International rugby, structure and discipline should be the easy factors to learn.....it seems while players seem happier, the discipline to the fundamentals in defense are way worse.
